Design is simple. Buy a satellite dish positioner for the C/K band satellite dishes (about $80).
Put it on top of a standard ham rotator. Build your control box and position sensor.
Most of the additional hardware was purchased at Home Depot. The metal frame came from an old bed frame.
The boom is made of fiberglass with a wooden closet dowl put inside so it doesn't crush from ubolts and reduces
any sagging. there is a pvc sleeve in the middle to act as a bushing and take up the slack
between the boom and the plumbing colars.
