My experience:
I have had State Farm Automobile Insurance polcy for at least 12 years now.
I have had a few accidents, some more severe than others.
One involved a 1993 Ford Aerostar. The insurance policy paid for the towing to an authorized
service repair center. The repair center estimated more repairs than the car was
worth. I felt that State Farm gave me a reasonable pay out for the van.
The next accident was in another state with a rental car. A deer ran out in front
of the car in Connecticut and splat. Somehow the Toyota Corolla rental was still drivable.
The policy covered the damage and I was out only the $500.00 deductible.
The next accident was my 2001 Honda Civic (This was the replacement for the totalled Aerostar and I still have).
It was side swiped by someone waiting at a red light that decided not to wait and drive into my passenger door
while I was going through the left turn arrow. I drove the car to the service center
and repairs started immediately. I even got my deductible back. The insurance policy also
covered the rental car. Another accident with
this car was a 4 car crash. Two cars hit my car from behind which caused my car to hit the van
in front. The car was still drivable, but the person's car behind my car looked like
a squished sandwich. I hope that person had a good accident attorney.
I'm sure a good accident lawyer would have had a field day with the first car.
Once again, State Farm paid for rental and work began ASAP.

State Farm Auto Insurance Cons:
Spot Rating:
While State Farm Auto Insurance may not be the cheapest car insurance around, they do pay
claims and the convenience of getting service right away is unbeatable.
