Therapure 201m Air Purifier Major Features:
- Hepa Type Media
- 3 speed fan
- UV PCO/TIO2 Technology
My experience:
I purchased this filter from Walmart for less than $100.
This "purifier" uses what looks like Hepa but is not. It also has a UV light
together with a TIO2 screen which is supposed to kill bacteria and eliminate odors.
To get the best odor cleaning effect requires running on media or high speed.
This air cleaner is very quiet on low and still moves a fair amount of air.
Very suitable for a bedroom noisewise. It does have a very bright blue light
when the UV is turned on. I ended up putting tape over it.
It took about a month for the filter to become dirty enough to require cleaning.
Cleaning is easy, it takes about 30 seconds to vacuum it out.
Therapure 201m Air PurifierPros:
- UV PCO/TIO2 technology seems to work well
- Easy cleaning
- Extremely quiet on low
Therapure 201m Air PurifierCons:
- Not true Hepa media
- Rediculously bright blue light
Spot Rating:
Seems to work well.
