Topic: Robotic Voice

Hi, I have an SPA3102 with 5.1.10(GW) version, and Skype 5.3..0.111. My SPA is correctly configured as the guide in this site, and my SipToSIs configuration is very simple, infact I made 1 or 2 changes accordly with installation guide.

My only issue is that when I do a Skype call after some minutes I hear a robotic voice while my listener hear me perfectly. I don't find nothing like this in the forum, anyone knows how can I solve this issue?

Thank you very much

Check CPU usage.

Try adjusting jitterLevel in siptosis.cfg

I have a quad-core 3,20ghz with 16GBRam, cpu usage is very low...

Tryed with Jitterlevel=-1,0,2,4...nothing, after some minutes I have the issue...

Re: Robotic Voice

You must first confirm Skype does not have the issue on it's own before trying to play with any more settings.

If Skype is OK by itself you can try playing with some settings.

In the ATA you can try setting the Network Jitter Level higher.

You can try adjusting audio_frame_size (try 160 or 320) in siptosis.cfg for the codec being used.
If you are downloading etc during a call and the ATA is inline with your network you can try the QOS settings - although I
had issues with it - I also have an older firmware than you do.
